A denial of service (DoS) s a form of cyberattack where large numbers of computers all tryn to access the same computer, often a web server, menaing that eiether it crashes, or is so slow to respond that legitimate traffic cannot access it. Typically, the computers performing the atack are themselves machies that have been compromised through a computer virus.
